Application Techniques for the Maintenance of Vertical Cladding and Polytunnels
Mossgo is regularly used for washing facades, agricultural glass houses and polytunnels. The product has no deleterious effects on plasticisers used in the manufacture of polythene and felts such as PVC etc.
The technique is similar to applications for roofing. Most polytunnel growers have some spraying tanks and pumps for agricultural usage. This equipment is generally suitable and no further investment needed. The Black-boom, however, can reach areas difficult to access and is light enough to do so without abnormal efforts.
The rain washes away the dead algae, reinstating the designed level of light. On vertical surfaces, where the rain is insufficient, rinsing with clear water may be needed a few hours later. As with ground surfaces, the use of Mossgo will eradicate algae in capillary gaps and extend the beneficial effects of the maintenance work in time.
