Dilution Rates
Recommended Usage
Mossgo is effective at very low levels. However, the biological load at the surface requires to adapt the concentration of the solution and application rate to the task at hand.
- Low biological loads are typically glazing, polytunnels, and areas receiving regular attention.
- Average biological loads will be areas around the house, sports surfaces, multi use game areas etc
- Heavy biological loads: Soiled surfaces, roofs. mossy areas, blanket fungi. Consult TVSP for specific advise on use.
A second factor influences the efficacy of chemicals: Temperature. Below 8o C the drop in efficacy is less predictable and a risk of incomplete result increases.
Precautions
It is more economical to remove the larger lumps of moss before application. When the substrate is porous or presents cracks and gaps, ensure good flooding of the interstices to interrupt the algae reproductive cycle.
Effects on plants: The active ingredient in MossGo-Pro can have adverse effects on plants. At the point of contact a discolouration takes place. The chlorophyll is replenished after a few days of growth on grass, but petals do not recover. The damage is limited to the point of contact and proportional to the intensity of the spill.
